One of our primary goals at Dandylion is to disprove the concept percieved by many that Vegetarian & Vegan food is boring. Since our initial vision, we have worked towards this goal of presenting Vegetarian food that is full of flavor, hearty, and delicious, whilst also maintaining healthiness and nutrition. Too long have Degustations meant for a Vegetarian that they will be limited to 1 or 2 options on the menu, most likely one of them being a token 'mushroom or pumpkin risotto.' For Vegans the choices are even narrower, more likely then not they will end up with a bland basic salad, and 'fruit' for Dessert. With this in mind we decided to create a cooked, delicious degustation that can be enjoyed by everyone!

On the fist Thursday of every month we will be hosting a Vegan Degustation at the Dandylion. We have two sittings, the first is at 6pm sharp and the second is at 8:30pm. The night includes six mouth-watering courses to sample, all of which are vegan, and the majority are Gluten-free, or have GF options available. We have been trialling the night for the last two months with great results so far.

Last Thursday was our second fully-booked degustation, and Valeria managed to wow us with her range of incredible dishes. The night begun with appetisers: Mushroom, pine nut & truffle oil tart, and Cauliflower Crispies. This was followed by an Endive, quinoa, walnut & pear salad with our delicous vegan mayo dressing. Then we brought out our Italian style with Valeria's own GF & Vegan Arancini balls. Guests were then treated to the two mains of the night: Jerusalem artichoke cream polenta w sauteed beluga lentils & Gnocci w puttanesca sauce, basil pesto & fried basil leaves. Last but not least was dessert: Chocolate, maple syrup, almond & banana tarte with whipped coconut cream.

Our next degustation night is on the 6th Aug, and will have two sittings: 6pm & 8:30pm. It is $40/pp not including drinks, Bookings and enquiries can be made by emailing:
