Last Friday, was a very big night for the team @ The Dandylion. Friday the 9th of January saw 18 hand selected guests walk through the Dandylion's doors to participate in our first ever Food Tasting that would take place within the actual restaurant. It has been a very challenging and exciting journey for us to get to this point, as the premises was formerly a DVD store, and we have completely renovated it from top to bottom, taking a crash course in architecture, engineering and design along the way! Too see our restaurant looking so near completeion and extremely beautiful for the first time was a sight for us all to behold.

The Tasting started  @ 7pm with a welcome Aperol Spritzer and some delicious sample Dips of Vegan Aioli, Hummus, Tartare and Olive tapenade, along with a cheese platters. Following this our guests were seated along the amazing bench space designed by Alchemy Black and split into four groups. There were 6 sample dishes for sharing - brought out two at a time. Each one was a potential main meal that was up as a contender to make it on the final menu. The guests had to sample each dish and give it a rating out of 5 and write down any follow up comments. An accompanying wine was served with each platter. The evening was ended with Valeria's mouth-watering Pannacotta for dessert & a delicious Lychee & Passionfruit Caprioska which was designed by our head bartender, Carlos. 

Overall, it was a beautiful night, which was greatly enhanced by our enchanting guests. They not only provided us the opportunity to have our Team work together within the restaurant for the first time, but also offered some valuable insite into final menu adjustments that need to take place before we can officially open our doors late next week.
