Our new wildlife refuge features many new animals but, of course, there are many lions roaming the grounds that take a special place in our hearts. Dandy Lion first opened many years ago as a place for injured, misplaced or aging lions to come and rehabilitate. After caring for hundreds of lions, we expanded our animal outreach to include almost any exotic animal. We now have lions, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes and so much more! With our new refuge opening up thanks to our supporters, we will have even more animals. From a small group of endangered snakes to our first elephant, we have space to help care for almost one hundred new animals!
Dandy Lion has so many amazing supporters who believe in our animal welfare cause and have donated to us over the years. When we reached out for assistance to build our new sanctuary, the call back was astounding.
